Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfredo Librado got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the MARITO FUTBOL CLUB defense, Moises Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Orlanda. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Alfredo Librado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Honduras booed when MARITO FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Oalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Orlanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 46th minute of the match.

Alfredo Gai's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Gai helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes MARITO FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Gai. Jonathan Orlanda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 51st minute. If Isidoro Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Abreu came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jonathan Orlanda made a huge save. But to his dismay, Alfredo Librado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Alfredo Librado was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 70th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's Alfredo Gai got a free kick in the 74th minute. Alberto Illan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's Jonathan Orlanda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Jonathan Orlanda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. When Alberto Illan fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARITO FUTBOL CLUB's protests and gave Alberto Illan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Alberto Illan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Orlanda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The MARITO FUTBOL CLUB players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
