With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andreas Åhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Björnlunda IF's Eric Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes in the game Valentín Carvallo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sebastian Villa. 27 minutes into the game, Valentín Carvallo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Björnlunda IF's Stefan Hjortsberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Eric Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute of play. Simon Wennersten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Jens-Erik Hård made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. Eric Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. Eric Olofsson was a little too slow when Sebastian Villa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 2-1. A sloppy throw-in by Jens-Erik Hård in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. 60 minutes into the match, Simon Wennersten notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Wennersten in the 63rd minute of the match. Many of Honduras's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Honduras may have spent more time on the ball, but Björnlunda IF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
