Adrian Farias kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Lidström in the 6th minute of play forced Gaita´s club's goalkeeper Jaime Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars-Erik Lidström took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Cortez. Jaime Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Segmon IF's Alfons Glad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurtuluş Tuğcu in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Robert Dubiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Segmon IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Dubiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfons Glad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurtuluş Tuğcu in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Dubiel in the 17th minute of play forced Gaita´s club's goalkeeper Jaime Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Dubiel's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Freddy Solustiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Glad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Dubiel in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Cortez saved Gaita´s club from getting behind. In the 23rdth minute of the game Robert Dubiel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaita´s club's Jaime Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaime Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Lidström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Allan Deckberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28thth minute of the game Leif Löfdahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaita´s club's Jaime Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Gaita´s club's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Lidström came free, but Jaime Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Joseph Österlund sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gaita´s club's Jaime Cortez didn't even have to move. Jaime Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Lidström in the 41st minute of play. Alfons Glad made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Freddy Solustiano sent off a good shot on target. Freddy Solustiano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfons Glad firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kurtuluş Tuğcu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaita´s club's Jaime Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Dubiel in the 50th minute of play. Jaime Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Löfdahl in the 54th minute of play. Alfons Glad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kurtuluş Tuğcu went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 70 minutes into the match, Gaita´s club's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Lidström came free, but Jaime Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Gaita´s club's Kurtuluş Tuğcu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfons Glad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 76th minute Robert Dubiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gaita´s club booed when Segmon IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Finnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gaita´s club's Osvaldo Asteri got a free kick in the 84th minute. Gaita´s club made a substitution. Vladimiro Azubeli replaced Delmiro Xabel. After 86 played minutes Gaita´s club got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Asteri. Rafael Bernaldo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. Jaime Cortez was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Joseph Österlund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joseph Österlund really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Segmon IF were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
