But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Zubaşcu couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Remus Stanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Farstad took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iacob Stroici. Iacob Stroici dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Banica in the 67th minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, bullfinches's Iacob Stroici got control of the ball when Abelardo Alonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iacob Stroici stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Farstad's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Abelardo Alonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Iacob Stroici made a huge save. In the 83rd minute Gjermund Viste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Stroici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute Costică Glăvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavcho Kanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
