Bedrettin Kamuran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Farstad in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Trygve Stormoen kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Slavcho Kanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lütfü Yezid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute of the match BEYOĞLU ÇUKURCUMA 1965 got a corner. Legia Stavanger's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rüzgar Zirve ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to BEYOĞLU ÇUKURCUMA 1965 getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Mustafa Namık Özaydın hit a great ball. Slavcho Kanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márió Rákosi in the 83rd minute of the match. Bedrettin Kamuran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Farstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Slavcho Kanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. After a rather tough play, Legia Stavanger's Orest Bredun got a free kick in the 89th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 90 minutes into the game, when Tymur Dolganskyi put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Legia Stavanger getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tymur Dolganskyi hit a great ball. Rüzgar Zirve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Kılıçalp Akdemirci came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Abelardo Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that BEYOĞLU ÇUKURCUMA 1965 were the better team. BEYOĞLU ÇUKURCUMA 1965's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
