Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Atila Punta started the match with the kick off. Berkeley Huther might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henning Sæmer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berkeley Huther ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldwin 舒 in the 5th minute of play. Henning Sæmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atila Punta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goal looked a bit too open when Atila Punta came free, but Henning Sæmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Benjamin Nygren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Voller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitar Berbatov charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dimitar Berbatov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes FC Nordsjælland got a freekick which was hit by Dimitar Berbatov. Joel Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Sæmer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atila Punta in the 20th minute of play forced FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Henning Sæmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Berkeley Huther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes of play, Elderslie Magpies's Baldwin 舒 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henning Sæmer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rikard Gjødsbøl's late challenge caught a Elderslie Magpies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rikard Gjødsbøl helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atila Punta in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henning Sæmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to FC Nordsjælland getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Daniel Svensson hit a great ball. Henning Sæmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atila Punta, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Atila Punta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th match minute, FC Nordsjælland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ibrahim Osman to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Atila Punta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Sæmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Atila Punta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Alan Voller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Gjødsbøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ralph Gorham kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Stephan Rutledge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Sæmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Voller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitar Berbatov in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitar Berbatov came free, but Alan Voller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Pere Villanueva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elderslie Magpies's supporters rose to their feet, but Pere Villanueva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henning Sæmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Sindre Walle came free, but Alan Voller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitar Berbatov took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alan Voller. Alan Voller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Joel Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Sæmer having to interfere. Baldwin 舒 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Sæmer having to interfere. Henning Sæmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atila Punta in the 78th minute. 78 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Henning Sæmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atila Punta. In the 82nd minute, Atila Punta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henning Sæmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, FC Nordsjælland's Sindre Walle got a free kick in the 86th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Pere Villanueva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henning Sæmer. Pere Villanueva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Elderslie Magpies left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Nordsjælland.
