The audience was convinced that Edin Džeko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominik Zídek was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Sosnowiec's protests and gave Yu Sha Xu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, F.C. Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yu Sha Xu to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dominik Zídek. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. In the 12th minute Edin Džeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Zídek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominik Zídek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Sha Xu in the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC NESYT SEDLEC's zone, Edin Džeko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Zídek came out of the goal and Edin Džeko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edin Džeko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Dominik Zídek made a huge save. When Leonard Lewkowicz came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the F.C. Sosnowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Lewkowicz couldn't finish the play. Edin Džeko struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Dominik Zídek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Sosnowiec. In the 24th minute, Miroslav Bušta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominik Zídek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Lewkowicz in the 26th minute of play. Dominik Zídek was a little too slow when Edin Džeko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edin Džeko in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominik Zídek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 minutes FC NESYT SEDLEC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Konstanty Literski who took care of the corner kick. When Radim Koza fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC NESYT SEDLEC's protests and gave Radim Koza a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC NESYT SEDLEC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Radim Koza hit a great ball. Dominik Zídek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edin Džeko's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The F.C. Sosnowiec fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd minute, Edin Džeko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dominik Zídek was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Dominik Zídek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edin Džeko in the 47th minute of the match. Antonín Náprstek kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edin Džeko was the one to do the kick off. Dominik Zídek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edin Džeko might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dominik Zídek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edin Džeko ran back to his position shaking his head. Dominik Zídek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edin Džeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Edin Džeko sped through FC NESYT SEDLEC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dominik Zídek. In the 83rd minute, Miroslav Bušta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Massem Mendes in the 86th minute of play forced FC NESYT SEDLEC's goalkeeper Dominik Zídek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edin Džeko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute Edin Džeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Zídek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, F.C. Sosnowiec's Edin Džeko got a free kick in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. F.C. Sosnowiec had played much better football throughout.
