With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Trifko Rodić tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. A nice corner shot did that Rastko Santrač got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Hoffmann having to interfere. Thomás Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Mangekyou Sharingan's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Thomás Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Srđan Puđa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mangekyou Sharingan's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomás Hoffmann came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trifko Rodić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomás Hoffmann saved Mangekyou Sharingan from getting behind. Rastko Santrač sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Mangekyou Sharingan's Vukašin Jeremić was substituted for Trifko Rodić. Mangekyou Sharingan made a substitution. José Vítor Domingues replaced Abdón Spöerer. Ümit Özveri hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when José Vítor Domingues made the kick off in the second half. José Vítor Domingues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, José Vítor Domingues notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Mangekyou Sharingan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomás Hoffmann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thomás Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, José Vítor Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Vítor Domingues scored 2-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Mangekyou Sharingan's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomás Hoffmann came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Vítor Domingues might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Vítor Domingues ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mangekyou Sharingan's José Vítor Domingues shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Ümit Özveri kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mangekyou Sharingan had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
