Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Marsac in the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgün Hatip got free with Julio Vera in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galapagos Islands FC's Anthon Karlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Özgün Hatip managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galapagos Islands FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özgün Hatip was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radomil Mroczynski's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Özgün Hatip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Boris Marsac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Galapagos Islands FC's Özgün Hatip in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 39th minute of play forced Galapagos Islands FC's goalkeeper Anthon Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Özgün Hatip fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Özgün Hatip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Özgün Hatip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özgün Hatip to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Anthon Karlsson 53 minutes into the match. Galapagos Islands FC made a substitution. Gleb Levkov replaced Radomil Mroczynski. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Anthon Karlsson. Anthon Karlsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Marsac in the 76th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frankie Flambard during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Galapagos Islands FC's Anthon Karlsson got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Anthon Karlsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galapagos Islands FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anthon Karlsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Anthon Karlsson made a huge save. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anthon Karlsson could save by the left post. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Anthon Karlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anthon Karlsson came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ecuador played a much better game than Galapagos Islands FC and deserved their victory. The Galapagos Islands FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
