Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristian Nevares started the match with the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Chicote in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SC Conceição's Joãozinho Amigo. The supporters of SC Conceição booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, SC Conceição's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Flávio Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Nevares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After 15 minutes, Florentino Cedro made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Flávio Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Florentino Cedro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. SC Conceição's Joãozinho Amigo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 22nd minute of the game. The supporters of SC Conceição booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Conceição were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kauã Rezende took the corner. The corner led SC Conceição's Tao Xing to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Florentino Cedro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Cedro. Florentino Cedro scored 3-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in SC Conceição's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flávio Terra came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Álvaro Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Álvaro Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Álvaro Velloso hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Florentino Cedro notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

After 53 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. In the 54th minute, Cristian Nevares made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. SC Conceição's Florentino Cedro got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Chicote made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SC Conceição's Joãozinho Amigo. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Cedro in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, SC Conceição's Florentino Cedro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 76th minute, Patricio Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. SC Conceição's attentive Joãozinho Amigo managed to snatch the ball when Alex Chicote made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Artizar in the 92nd minute of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Flávio Terra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Alex Chicote made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Joshua Secada however managed to control. 96 minutes into the match, SC Conceição's goalkeeper Flávio Terra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Cedro in the 98th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Conceição had played much better football throughout.
