Ekerö IF's Bengt-Arne Biörnberg got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arvin Bollström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arvin Bollström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Ekerö IF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Remigiusz Walec hit a great ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Ekerö IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arvin Bollström quite easily take care of the ball. Arvin Bollström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Antoni Zywiec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddie Wikander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Ekerö IF's Arvin Bollström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Bollström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Ekerö IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andreas Siöman kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvin Bollström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Wikander in the 78th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arvin Bollström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. The Ecuador players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
