Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Trenel AFC's Alastair Moody started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnoldo Sandalio came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 9th minute of play forced Trenel AFC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Sandalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnoldo Sandalio quite easily take care of the ball. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Arnoldo Sandalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Gregory kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 17thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Mexico's keeper Dante Lacasa was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Arnoldo Sandalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Arnoldo Sandalio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Arnoldo Sandalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 23rd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timoteo Matro in the 26th minute. Alberto Misael hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match, Timoteo Matro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Trenel AFC's Arnoldo Sandalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After 46 played minutes Trenel AFC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Matro. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Arnoldo Sandalio made a huge save. A collision led to Trenel AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alberto Misael hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alastair Moody in the 54th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Sandalio having to interfere. Trenel AFC's Arnoldo Sandalio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Trenel AFC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Trenel AFC's Arnoldo Sandalio got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Trenel AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo scored to the left of an out of position Arnoldo Sandalio, making the score, 0-3. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Arnoldo Sandalio threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Arnoldo Sandalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Alberto Misael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trenel AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Misael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alastair Moody in the 79th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Misael hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Gregory, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Trenel AFC's Timoteo Matro to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoldo Sandalio. Arnoldo Sandalio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 92nd minute Alastair Moody shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Trenel AFC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
