Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Cardiff City FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Nunez Larra hit a great ball. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xencio Millan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Efraim in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Santio got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cardiff City FC's Primitivo Ciano. But to his dismay, Primitivo Ciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cardiff City FC's goalkeeper Xencio Millan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Julian Efraim sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xencio Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Efraim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 45 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Ciano in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xencio Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 59th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Efraim in the 61st minute of the match. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Chicote during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! The referee gave Cardiff City FC a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Julian Efraim, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cardiff City FC made a substitution. Baltasar Bertin replaced Julian Efraim.
