Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peder Fossingkjær started the match with the kick off. When Turgut Soyuer came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Turkey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turgut Soyuer couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the game, Turgut Soyuer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. José Carlos Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Carlos Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer in the 11th minute of play. Nistor Ghelmegean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gürhan Sarıoğlu came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and José Carlos Mendonça could save by the left post. When Önder Ersan fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KANLICA FK's protests and gave Önder Ersan a yellow card for diving instead. Önder Ersan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Arjen Robben was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Turkey's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 20 minutes into the game, Turgut Soyuer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. José Carlos Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Carlos Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Turkey booed when KANLICA FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Önder Ersan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Turkey's Turgut Soyuer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Carlos Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The audience was convinced that Turgut Soyuer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Carlos Mendonça was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Turgut Soyuer in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Carlos Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Turgut Soyuer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 33rd minute of play forced KANLICA FK's goalkeeper José Carlos Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KANLICA FK's Önder Ersan got a free kick in the 35th minute. José Carlos Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Turgut Soyuer's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. If Turgut Soyuer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Önder Ersan made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Peder Fossingkjær. If Grigore Dinculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Nistor Ghelmegean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Carlos Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Turgut Soyuer went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turgut Soyuer to make the kick off. Olcay Özduran made in the 52nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Peder Fossingkjær. 54 minutes into the match, Turkey's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Fossingkjær came free, but Cankut Wakabayashi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turgut Soyuer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Carlos Mendonça having to make a save. José Carlos Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes of play, Turkey's Turgut Soyuer made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Carlos Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Turgut Soyuer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Carlos Mendonça. KANLICA FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Turgut Soyuer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. José Carlos Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to KANLICA FK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Önder Ersan hit a great ball. Turkey's Cuma Oruk was substituted for Arjen Robben. Turkey made a substitution. Zé Dos Reis replaced Turgut Soyuer. Önder Ersan hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Önder Ersan made in the 74th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Peder Fossingkjær. A collision led to KANLICA FK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Önder Ersan hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Turkey's Zé Dos Reis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Carlos Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Turkey's goalkeeper Cankut Wakabayashi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elixio Estrada. If Zé Dos Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the KANLICA FK defense, Zé Dos Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Carlos Mendonça. The KANLICA FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Carlos Mendonça should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes in the game Önder Ersan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Peder Fossingkjær. José Carlos Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Dos Reis in the 96th minute of the match.
