The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bayern Boliviano's Álvaro Peña got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bayern Boliviano's zone, Davide Spadoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Giorgio came out of the goal and Davide Spadoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Fabrizio Adriano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bayern Boliviano's Antonio Giorgio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Davide Spadoni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bar Marconi United's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Spadoni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Giorgio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 played minutes Bayern Boliviano got a freekick which was hit by Vitorino Abello. Davide Spadoni fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 45th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Antonio Giorgio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Adriano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Bar Marconi United's Enzo Di Rocco was substituted for Alfonso Andreozzi. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Álvaro Peña stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Álvaro Peña during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Álvaro Peña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bar Marconi United made a substitution. Costin Alucai replaced Fabrizio Adriano. In the 71st minute Costin Alucai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Giorgio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Costin Alucai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bayern Boliviano's Antonio Giorgio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Álvaro Peña came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Bayern Boliviano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Peña couldn't finish the play. Bar Marconi United made a substitution. Andrea Ranalli replaced Davide Spadoni. Bayern Boliviano's Cooper Schurter was substituted for Anton Erkmann. Bayern Boliviano's Håkan Rudkvist was substituted for Álvaro Peña. The throw-in from Ettore Canzano in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bayern Boliviano's Venceslao Abarca. Bayern Boliviano's Antonio Giorgio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Bayern Boliviano from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Ranalli in the 95th minute of play forced Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Antonio Giorgio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bar Marconi United played a much better game than Bayern Boliviano and deserved their victory. The Bayern Boliviano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
