Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zacarias Aritza's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Blicharz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Odpalony's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ryszard Blicharz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Leszek Gollob was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Odpalony's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Leszek Gollob hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Odpalony's Leszek Gollob got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ryszard Blicharz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Zacarias Aritza made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Odpalony's Ryszard Blicharz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Odpalony from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Odpalony's Leszek Gollob sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ryszard Blicharz in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute Zacarias Aritza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Aritza kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Odpalony was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Aritza to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Odpalony could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
