Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petruț Lovinescu. After a rather tough play, Stoicii's Alexandru Zaki got a free kick in the 12th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 14 minutes of play, Stoicii's Claudiu Popescu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Stoicii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandru Zaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 24 minutes into the match, Stoicii's Mugur Aldulea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 27 played minutes Stoicii got a freekick which was hit by Felix Zbora. Mugur Aldulea had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Stoicii's Maxim Capătă got a free kick in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Claudiu Popescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Popescu in the 43rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudiu Popescu to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Aldulea came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiu Oncescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Popescu in the 85th minute of the match. Felix Zbora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. After 91 minutes, Claudiu Popescu made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Stoicii players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
