Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Anier Sanduru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. LEON FC's Anier Sanduru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a rather tough play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a free kick in the 21st minute. Anier Sanduru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Piekarczyk in the 33rd minute of the match. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to LEON FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Muhittin Pamiroğlu hit a great ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kazimierz Piekarczyk to strike the kick off in the second half. If Muhittin Pamiroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Panfilo came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. Silvio Musko's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Musko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Silvio Musko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Sanduru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Sanduru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Rolando Dimo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LEON FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. Panama's Oscar Laguna was substituted for Alex Cambeiro. In the 68th match minute, LEON FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Dimo to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. After a good free kick, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for LEON FC. In the 77th minute Rolando Dimo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by LEON FC's Adan Panfilo. But to his dismay, Adan Panfilo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 91st minute, Cyprien Bénard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Sanduru having to interfere. After 95 played minutes LEON FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Dimo. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. LEON FC had won after a very even match.
