Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sjoerd Heida started the match with the kick off. The Uruguay fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Uruguay's Francisco Seco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All Stars's Tonnie Bruinsma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Sjoerd Heida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jef Saarloos, made in the 20th minute of the game. All Stars's Tonnie Bruinsma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 21st minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Gerwin Telkamp put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Uruguay booed when All Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerwin Telkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Gisbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tonnie Bruinsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Cazalla in the 26th minute of play. All Stars's Tonnie Bruinsma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Max van Rijswijk threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 32nd minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tonnie Bruinsma having to make a save. 34 minutes into the match, All Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Tonnie Bruinsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tonnie Bruinsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tonnie Bruinsma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Camilo Franco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tonnie Bruinsma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After the first half Uruguay were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. Tonnie Bruinsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 51st minute of the match. Tonnie Bruinsma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 69 played minutes All Stars got a freekick which was hit by Elbert Ostermann. Max van Rijswijk made in the 75th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Martien Brans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 76th minute of play forced All Stars's goalkeeper Tonnie Bruinsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tonnie Bruinsma firmly grabbed it by the left post. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jef Saarloos in the 81 minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Francisco Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tonnie Bruinsma. The goal made the score 2-4. 87 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tonnie Bruinsma. Maximiliano Escribano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Sjoerd Heida struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for All Stars. After a rather tough play, All Stars's Jef Saarloos got a free kick in the 94th minute.
