After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Agustín Saelices fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fredrik Broman quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Silk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Fredrik Broman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredrik Broman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kyle Silk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Silk was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Fredrik Broman in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Fredrik Broman made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Arapaho Mountain NK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
