Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. Urbain Richard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Costa Rica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zantos IF:s goal. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Zantos IF's Sven-Olof Gerdberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Benito Sanz. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 34th minute of play forced Zantos IF's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Stor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zantos IF's Per-Oskar Stor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Urbain Richard had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Alan Moruga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars Alstedt to make the kick off. Lars Alstedt scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timmy Glad hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Lars Alstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zantos IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Alstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the game, Zantos IF's Sergiu Teodoreanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Alstedt in the 81st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Alstedt in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. In the 86th match minute, Zantos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Siggesson to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Zantos IF's Sergiu Teodoreanu. But to his dismay, Sergiu Teodoreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Zantos IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
