Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Karol Czempa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Progresul Pitesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karol Czempa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vasile Blănaru took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Progresul Pitesti booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Progresul Pitesti's Karol Czempa. But to his dismay, Karol Czempa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
