Hooden Hotspurs BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Holmgren in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Hooden Hotspurs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Arman Hernström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 51st minute of play forced Hooden Hotspurs BK's goalkeeper Arman Hernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Arman Hernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 68th minute of play. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Holmgren came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arman Hernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Kjell Caspersson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mexico's Luca Zorita quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arman Hernström having to interfere. A collision led to Hooden Hotspurs BK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Anders Dalkvist hit a great ball. Arman Hernström was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joel Gaona. After 95 minutes of play, Hooden Hotspurs BK's Hans Gadd made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hooden Hotspurs BK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
