Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Samuel Hultman got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Samuel Hultman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Hultman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 6 minutes of play, Mellansels stationsgäng's Lars Tidén made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 12 minutes Mellansels stationsgäng's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Tasis who took care of the corner kick. In the 18th minute, Samuel Hultman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Lars Tidén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samuel Hultman scored 4-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Brian Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mellansels stationsgäng's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Lindholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Hultman in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Mellansels stationsgäng were awarded a corner. Sven-Ove Eliasson went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 39th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, Samuel Hultman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Mellansels stationsgäng's Samuel Hultman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Lars Tidén made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Hultman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute Samuel Hultman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mellansels stationsgäng booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Hultman in the 70th minute of the match. If Samuel Hultman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Hultman's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After 79 minutes of play, Mellansels stationsgäng's Samuel Hultman made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Samuel Hultman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Lars Tidén sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Mellansels stationsgäng's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
