Dé Reis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Ronaldo Sá quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Ronaldo Sá managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abel Carballo in the 29 minute of the game. Hugo Ferrant got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lautaro Puig. In the 34th minute, Axel Tasis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dé Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The supporters of Aesir FC FSCMZ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lautaro Puig helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 40th minute. Nildo Paraíba hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Benito Sanz, was totally fooled by Aesir FC FSCMZ's Nildo Paraíba, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Franklin Lira made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Abel Carballo in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Aesir FC FSCMZ's Caco da Costa. Efrain Moruga made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aaron Alcocer. After 62 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Aesir FC FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute of the game Efrain Moruga made a throw-in which Eliseo Noboa played forward. Alan Moruga made in the 71st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lautaro Puig however managed to control. Hugo Ferrant made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Aesir FC FSCMZ's Guga Barros. Efrain Moruga made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Aesir FC FSCMZ's Caco da Costa. 78 minutes into the game, Aaron Alcocer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Lautaro Puig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dé Reis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Guga Barros quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 96th minute of the game. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Chants of Costa Rica echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Aesir FC FSCMZ had held the ball for most of the match.
