Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Denis Oprescu made the kick off and thus started the match. Dante Lacasa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leontin Traianescu. In the 13th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jienescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Denis Oprescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihăiţă Văduva hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jienescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Octav Stoicescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 26th minute of play forced GoalHunters's goalkeeper Daniel Jienescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniel Jienescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jienescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Felix Luque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jienescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Jienescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Oprescu in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 46thth minute of the game Pedro Jerrold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. GoalHunters's Daniel Jienescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th minute Denis Oprescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Jienescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Jienescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Denis Oprescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GoalHunters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Oprescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Jienescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. GoalHunters's Leontin Traianescu got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th match minute, GoalHunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Văduva to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 79th minute of play forced GoalHunters's goalkeeper Daniel Jienescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Jienescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Oprescu in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. In the 82nd minute Denis Oprescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jienescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes GoalHunters's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. After 87 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. After a defensive mix-up in GoalHunters's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Jienescu came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Pedro Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jienescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Jienescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 93rd minute of play. 93 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Mexico's Joel Gaona fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Mexico were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
