After taking down the ball on Drömelvan BK's corner Ralf Alefors fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Drömelvan BK's Ralf Alefors slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-1 after 28 minutes of play. Tobias Billström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Devrim Uçbay in the 37th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Pettersson in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that Ernst Pettersson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Drömelvan BK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Drömelvan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Tobias Billström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
