After a defensive mix-up in FC Cosula-BTF-'s zone, Dedé Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Brumaru came out of the goal and Dedé Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciprian Gaiță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Maurinho Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Jumeuc Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Sena to maneuver through the defense. FC Cosula-BTF-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciprian Gaiță in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Olimpiu Teodorescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurinho Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Maurinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Lăzărescu in the 34th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Murillo Marinho made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ciprian Gaiță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciprian Gaiță got free with Maurinho Sousa in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciprian Gaiță to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, one of Jumeuc Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Jumeuc Futebol Clube booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Bădescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Emilian Bădila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes Jumeuc Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Sousa. Patrick Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciprian Gaiță in the 66th minute of play forced Jumeuc Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Maurinho Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Doni Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petre Bogătan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Dedé Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Brumaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Bădescu. Ilie Brumaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Dedé Fernandes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilie Brumaru. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dedé Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ciprian Gaiță in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
