Kaká Sampaio hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes, Elói Penha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morro Grande E.C and the Jumeuc Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jumeuc Futebol Clube booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Anísio Sousa got a free kick in the 10th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorginho Mazza couldn't finish the play. If Ronaldinho Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Dedé Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Pedro Abraão came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Túlio Dias. But to his dismay, Túlio Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 26th minute Túlio Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Elói Penha. Túlio Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but José Pedro Abraão made a huge save. Tomás Magalhães hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Morro Grande E.C's José Pedro Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Dias in the 34th minute of play. José Pedro Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldinho Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 minutes, Túlio Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jumeuc Futebol Clube and the Morro Grande E.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Túlio Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ronaldinho Meira hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Jumeuc Futebol Clube booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldinho Meira in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aníbal Arruda saved Jumeuc Futebol Clube from getting behind. After 75 minutes, Doni Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jumeuc Futebol Clube and the Morro Grande E.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. 76 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Meira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Aníbal Arruda. Aníbal Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Morro Grande E.C's José Pedro Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Dias in the 82nd minute of play. When Jorginho Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Morro Grande E.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorginho Mazza couldn't finish the play. Jorginho Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Arruda having to interfere. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Túlio Dias got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Túlio Dias off the ground. After a rather tough play, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Túlio Dias got a free kick in the 95th minute. Despite being the better team, Jumeuc Futebol Clube failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
