Michael Kuijsten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Aníbal Arruda made a huge save. Mijdrecht Maffia were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Jumeuc Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laurens Hollander took the corner. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
