After some careless play in the Rasnita defense, Mickey Kass kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gigel Bobeica. The Rasnita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigel Bobeica should have stopped the shot. Gigel Bobeica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Giöck in the 17th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Okey Eye to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Luca Mestecăneanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 81st minute, Cristinel Bungescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Rasnita's Gelu Tăzlăuanu got a free kick in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rasnita's zone, Pangeran Pango stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigel Bobeica came out of the goal and Pangeran Pango tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
