In the 17th minute of the match Bartlomiej Grabski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rik Numan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marek Bartochowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Kuijsten in the 23rd minute of the match. When Bartlomiej Grabski came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Galja Kraków fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartlomiej Grabski couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Witold Zielinski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rik Numan. Mijdrecht Maffia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witold Zielinski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Michael Kuijsten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Marek Bartochowski made a huge save. Marek Bartochowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Blanc in the 31st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Mijdrecht Maffia's Marek Bartochowski threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcel Blanc, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Galja Kraków's Witold Zielinski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Radoslaw Oryniak hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michael Kuijsten to strike the kick off in the second half. The Mijdrecht Maffia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galja Kraków's performance. The match ended with a win for Galja Kraków.
