Vanadio F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mijdrecht Maffia the free kick. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Txaran Herenchun hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gertjan Theisens came free, but Esteban Aleson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Feo Lluberas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Vanadio F.C.'s Txaran Herenchun got a free kick in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vanadio F.C.'s zone, Marcel Blanc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Aleson came out of the goal and Marcel Blanc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Marcel Blanc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Aleson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Aleson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Kuijsten in the 29th minute of play. Rik Numan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Arratia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Christian Arratia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 37 minutes, Marcel Blanc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mijdrecht Maffia and the Vanadio F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcel Blanc kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Montrell Sojo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vanadio F.C.'s Esteban Aleson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Kuijsten in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Romano Montoya hit a great ball. Marcel Blanc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Aleson having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakob Pernambucano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Curiel in the 53rd minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rik Numan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Txaran Herenchun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Jakob Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rik Numan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurens Hollander might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban Aleson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laurens Hollander ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Blanc in the 69th minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Esteban Aleson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mijdrecht Maffia defense, Jakob Pernambucano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rik Numan. The Mijdrecht Maffia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rik Numan should have stopped the shot. Asteri Reganado got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 87th match minute, Vanadio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asteri Reganado to maneuver through the defense. Peter Homan hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the game, Jens Spoel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mijdrecht Maffia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vanadio F.C. the free kick. After 94 played minutes Mijdrecht Maffia got a freekick which was hit by Jens Spoel. When Peter Homan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. The supporters of Vanadio F.C. booed when Mijdrecht Maffia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Homan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vanadio F.C. had won after a very even match.
