Peter Homan charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Homan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mijdrecht Maffia getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Peter Homan hit a great ball. Rik Numan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzo Ivanov in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iliya Kasabov during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iliya Kasabov to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Nenchev in the 24th minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rik Numan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Gertjan Theisens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vute Baliev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzo Ivanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Rik Numan made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michael Kuijsten to make the kick off. Toni Nenchev scored 2-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rik Numan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 54th minute, Toni Nenchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens Spoel charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens Spoel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mijdrecht Maffia's Peter Homan got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Peter Homan off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Mijdrecht Maffia's zone, Volodya Biradzhiev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rik Numan came out of the goal and Volodya Biradzhiev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernst Klooster during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Mijdrecht Maffia got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Klooster. DARAS's Paolo Rossi was substituted for Toni Nenchev. After a rather tough play, Mijdrecht Maffia's Ernst Klooster got a free kick in the 66th minute. Michael Kuijsten kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Gonzo Ivanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, DARAS's Paolo Rossi got a free kick in the 75th minute. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Marick van Fessum with Gertjan Theisens as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Vute Baliev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Blanc in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzo Ivanov in the 83rd minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rik Numan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to DARAS getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Volodya Biradzhiev hit a great ball. Mijdrecht Maffia's Rik Numan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Rossi in the 95th minute of play. DARAS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
