With a little luck, Mijdrecht Maffia's Rik Numan got control of the ball when Horacio Milian tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute Michael Kuijsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marick van Fessum hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Pablo Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Blanc in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Mijdrecht Maffia were awarded a corner. Laurens Hollander went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Laurens Hollander got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pablo Petrigai quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pablo Petrigai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Blanc in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Mijdrecht Maffia got a corner. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laurens Hollander ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Laurens Hollander almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Pablo Petrigai did a great save. After 19 played minutes C. S. Peron y Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Tabby. After a rather tough play, Mijdrecht Maffia's Peter Homan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Sixto Tabby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rik Numan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Mijdrecht Maffia's Gertjan Theisens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Petrigai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Kuijsten came free, but Pablo Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Marcel Blanc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mijdrecht Maffia's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Blanc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Petrigai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 47 minutes, Horacio Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Milian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horacio Milian made a kick off. Mijdrecht Maffia's Rik Numan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Tabby in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Agustin Caton got a free kick in the 57th minute. When C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Atilano Belmiro in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mijdrecht Maffia's goalie prevented a goal. Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marick van Fessum charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marick van Fessum the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81st play minutes Atilano Belmiro shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Rik Numan and just under the crossbar into goal. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Sixto Tabby suffered a concussion after 85 minutes and had to leave the field. 92 minutes into the match, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Blanc came free, but Pablo Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. S. Peron y Belgrano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Laurens Hollander was slow to take the kick. During this time Mijdrecht Maffia's players had a chance to rest. Laurens Hollander made a great header on Mijdrecht Maffia's corner, it was just that C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Pablo Petrigai managed to reach the ball for a save. Mijdrecht Maffia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
