An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Tăzlăuanu in the 3rd minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Fernando Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 3 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Fernandes. Fernando Veloso came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Rasnita's Gelu Tăzlăuanu. But to his dismay, Gelu Tăzlăuanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel do Valle during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel do Valle to maneuver through the defense. Morro Grande E.C's Fernando Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Costache in the 15th minute of play. Fernando Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Costache in the 18th minute of play. Fernando Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Tăzlăuanu in the 20th minute of the match. When Lauro Fernandes fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morro Grande E.C's protests and gave Lauro Fernandes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Costache, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Ionuț Costache notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Morro Grande E.C's Fernando Veloso. Fernando Veloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Paulo Costa hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Fernando Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Tăzlăuanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ionuț Costache scored 0-4 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Veloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Rasnita's Luca Mestecăneanu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luca Mestecăneanu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rasnita protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luca Mestecăneanu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 39th match minute, Rasnita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Mestecăneanu to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionuț Costache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Ionuț Costache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Augusto Martins was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tomás Magalhães hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Ionuț Costache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Fernando Veloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionuț Costache. In the 75th minute, Ionuț Costache reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernando Veloso. The goal made the score 0-7. Fernando Veloso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 79th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. 84 minutes into the game, Ionuț Costache recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Veloso. Ionuț Costache showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. In the 89th play minute Cristinel Bungescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fernando Veloso. 0-10. The Morro Grande E.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rasnita were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
