Stephan van Fessum charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Mijdrecht Maffia fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Mijdrecht Maffia's Michael Kuijsten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Blanc in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aníbal Arruda saved Jumeuc Futebol Clube from getting behind. Despite being the better team, Mijdrecht Maffia failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
