Michael Kuijsten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Osman Tahir made a huge save. When Mijdrecht Maffia's Michael Kuijsten in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Mijdrecht Maffia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Montana were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michael Kuijsten made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sancar Sair in the 53rd minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rik Numan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mijdrecht Maffia getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jens Spoel hit a great ball. Michael Kuijsten scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osman Tahir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rik Numan was a little too slow when Sancar Sair got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Rik Numan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sancar Sair's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Jens Spoel's late challenge caught a FC Montana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens Spoel helped the player get up and apologised. FC Montana's Sezen Kotuzhan was substituted for Umur Ökten. In the 75th minute, Jens Spoel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osman Tahir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Klooster in the 81st minute of the match. Mijdrecht Maffia were furious when Peter Homan was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 87th match minute, Mijdrecht Maffia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Homan to maneuver through the defense. Rik Numan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sancar Sair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, FC Montana's Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rik Numan. Rik Numan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. FC Montana's Sezen Kotuzhan got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rik Numan made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Sezen Kotuzhan sent off a good shot on target.
