Mijdrecht Maffia's Rik Numan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mijdrecht Maffia from getting a goal against them. After 20 played minutes, Mijdrecht Maffia's Laurens Hollander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Levent Orkan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mijdrecht Maffia reached it. 22 minutes into the game, Ernst Klooster was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mijdrecht Maffia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nusaybin GençLikSpor the free kick. Nusaybin GençLikSpor's Levent Orkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Blanc in the 28th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Nusaybin GençLikSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fırat Akça to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hakkı Onur Erdem made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Kuijsten in the 62nd minute of play forced Nusaybin GençLikSpor's goalkeeper Levent Orkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Mijdrecht Maffia's Levent Orkan threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laurens Hollander, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Michael Kuijsten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Levent Orkan made a huge save. Gertjan Theisens hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcel Blanc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Levent Orkan came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcel Blanc slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Marcel Blanc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Levent Orkan was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After having played for 90 minutes, Laurens Hollander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mijdrecht Maffia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurens Hollander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 minutes, Ahmet Göktuğ Erçetin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nusaybin GençLikSpor and the Mijdrecht Maffia players grew even worse after the yellow card.
