After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 16th minute. The long shot by Rusi Kerenski in the 17th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of ПФК Миньор Раднево booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rusi Kerenski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. ПФК Миньор Раднево's Ivo Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 31st minute of play. ПФК Миньор Раднево's Ottó Csizmadia was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Yasen Ormandzhiev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ПФК Миньор Раднево's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Ivo Faria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zanko Yochkolovski during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusi Kerenski in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ottó Csizmadia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusi Kerenski in the 60th minute of play. After 66 minutes of play, ПФК Миньор Раднево's Rusi Kerenski made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! ПФК Миньор Раднево made a substitution. Nayden Statkov replaced Daniel Shestakov. In the 71st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Rusi Kerenski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ПФК Миньор Раднево's Ottó Csizmadia got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ПФК Миньор Раднево's Nayden Statkov got a free kick in the 86th minute. Ivan Kulekov struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ПФК Миньор Раднево.
