Cyryl Kaider was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyryl Kaider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cyryl Kaider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pogoń Staszów's Cyryl Kaider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Cyryl Kaider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cyryl Kaider didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Kaider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Damazy Raflewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play forced Pogoń Staszów's goalkeeper Cyryl Kaider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Pogoń Staszów defense, Juan Sebastián Puig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cyryl Kaider. The Pogoń Staszów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cyryl Kaider should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Kaider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Juan Sebastián Puig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pogoń Staszów's Cyryl Kaider did a great save. In the 45th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Cyryl Kaider in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cyryl Kaider could save by the left post. Cyryl Kaider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cyryl Kaider quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Victoriano Sayveon hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Cyryl Kaider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Cyryl Kaider made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyryl Kaider having to interfere. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
