Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. 石朗思 started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Norberto Granja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josh Jeffries fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Josh Jeffries had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josh Jeffries was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Henrique Prada came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Josh Jeffries came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Jonathan Venegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave malaiko the free kick. After 18 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Jonathan Ferrant acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abel Ferreira. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 29th minute Jose Correa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Prada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Pinho in the 31st minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Teofilo Cubillas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Tarcísio Bulhosa took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st play minute Tomas Illescas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Henrique Prada. 3-2. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josh Jeffries in the 54th minute of play. Norberto Granja hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Teofilo Cubillas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The malaiko fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by 石朗思 in the 62nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josh Jeffries, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Josh Jeffries stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Josh Jeffries tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, malaiko's Abel Ferreira got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. After 77 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Donato Madeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Prada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, malaiko's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Henrique Prada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 88 minutes, Abel Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the malaiko and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abel Ferreira hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd match minute, malaiko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Giza to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Borges came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
