Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Marcos Villarias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 13thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Nacional FC's Felipe Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Villarias in the 30th minute. Marcos Villarias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcos Villarias slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. Felipe Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Alejo Tauro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alejo Tauro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Virga to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Virga scored 3-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felipe Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 55th minute of play. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Felipe Varela despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Tomas Illescas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 74 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Felipe Varela was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bernad Albino took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Marcos Villarias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Villarias came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Marcos Villarias made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernad Albino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Marcos Villarias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Felipe Varela skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomas Illescas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Felipe Varela firmly grabbed it by the left post. Atletico Nacional FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
