A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by Rodrigo Fahl with Ibarra Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 17 minutes into the match, Nicasio Raymond notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicasio Raymond. 24 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Raymond came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jefferson Farfán kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 30th minute, Jefferson Farfán reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 4-0. Jama Pazos might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jama Pazos ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Nicasio Raymond notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the game, Ivan Navarro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Amadeo Gonzo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicasio Raymond in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Rodrigo Fahl kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Valentín Carvallo with Esteban Carvallo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 60 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Elias Arnedo in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo Fahl hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Nicasio Raymond scored 7-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jama Pazos in the 75 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Christian Sancho got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Jefferson Farfán got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Farfán came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Jefferson Farfán got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Arnedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Jefferson Farfán had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jefferson Farfán was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. A sloppy throw-in by Rodrigo Fahl in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. 95 minutes into the game, Jama Pazos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Honduras's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre had won, even though Honduras had held more of the ball.
