Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 21st minute. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ramon Marz in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ramon Marz sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. After 32 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Rosendo Lorien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. The Drako Futbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Drako Futbol Club's Ramon Marz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Ramon Marz put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. 44 minutes into the match, Ramon Marz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Maxim Van Schoorisse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Tasis in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drako Futbol Club the free kick. In the 55th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Marz came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 played minutes Drako Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Severo Hug. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon Marz in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Opilano came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Lorien in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Axel Tasis could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Maxim Van Schoorisse however easily saved by the left post. In the 77th minute Ramon Marz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Drako Futbol Club's zone, Eliseo Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxim Van Schoorisse came out of the goal and Eliseo Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Ramon Marz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Van Schoorisse having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Jonatan Opilano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Rosendo Lorien notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Drako Futbol Club were the better team. Drako Futbol Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
