In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dindarbelidiyespor's Mårten Hedkvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fredrik Wiman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Kaj Petersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dennis Dahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kaj Petersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Kaj Petersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaj Petersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Bergkvist came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 53 minutes, Kaj Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dindarbelidiyespor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaj Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilhelm Liljeström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Kaj Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaj Petersson went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Dindarbelidiyespor's Mårten Hedkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilhelm Liljeström succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredrik Wiman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Gottfrid Ekström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd match minute, Dindarbelidiyespor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Caspersson to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Dindarbelidiyespor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dindarbelidiyespor booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dindarbelidiyespor's Gottfrid Ekström. But to his dismay, Gottfrid Ekström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
