In the 17th match minute, Melenky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Herron to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachary Piwowarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sydney Herron was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. Zachary Piwowarski had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sergey Kapkaev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zachary Piwowarski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zachary Piwowarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute of play. Melenky FC's Zachary Piwowarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zachary Piwowarski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braian Rodríguez in the 43rd minute of the match. The Melenky FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Zachary Piwowarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 52nd minute of the match. Melenky FC's Georgiy Makarskiy managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillermo Mariano in the 58 minute of the game. After 59 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 63rd minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braian Rodríguez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. The Venezuela players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Melenky FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
