Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Germano. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 12th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique de Lima in the 14th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Donzela de Ferro FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutluay Ömürcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. Henrique de Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glauco Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Germano. Carlos Germano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 39th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 44 minutes in the game Primitivo Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Felix Montenegro. 46 minutes into the game, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's César de Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and César de Souza made a kick off. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomás Amaral in the 53rd minute. After 53 played minutes Donzela de Ferro FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Dany-Adams Mortier. Carlos Germano was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrique de Lima in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Donzela de Ferro FBPA fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Víktor Peres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute of play. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Carlos Germano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Donzela de Ferro FBPA from getting a goal against them. After 95 minutes, Dany-Adams Mortier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Donzela de Ferro FBPA and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Dany-Adams Mortier got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Donzela de Ferro FBPA.
