In the 20th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henrique de Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique de Lima got free with Julio Vera in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César de Souza in the 38th minute of the match. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Germano. Carlos Germano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalkeeper Carlos Germano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Germano having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalkeeper Carlos Germano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomás Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlos Germano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalkeeper Carlos Germano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's goalkeeper Carlos Germano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Carlos Germano made a huge save. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Donzela de Ferro FBPA throughout the match.
