Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gashka Nebuna's Alin Gârbovan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee felt a red card was in order, 3 minutes into the game, when Abel Carballo put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Gashka Nebuna booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gashka Nebuna the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes of play, Gashka Nebuna's Alin Gârbovan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Petrin came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alin Gârbovan hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Sabin Mereacre kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Axel Tasis, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Astor Gotzon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. In the 37th minute of the match Axel Tasis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Astor Gotzon skillfully saved the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Gârbovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Jdeica came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gashka Nebuna the free kick. After 47 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseo Noboa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Tiberiu Petrin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Astor Gotzon made a huge save. With a little luck, Gashka Nebuna's Astor Gotzon got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Gârbovan in the 69th minute of play. Gashka Nebuna's attentive Avram Robescu managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. With a little luck, Gashka Nebuna's Astor Gotzon got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Petrin in the 93rd minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Jdeica, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Gashka Nebuna's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
